Authentic French bistro and cuisine. Bar Tabac looks like it could have been transplanted from the streets of Paris with French-speaking waiters and decor. The moules frites are flavorful and the fries and the perfect texture. I also highly recommend the creme brÃ»lÃ©e and the burger.

Absolutely excellent. I cannot rave enough about the food here. The warm lentil salad was fantastic. The poached egg was perfect, the lentils, peppers, and bacon came together very well. The grilled chicken was delicious too! This place is a favorite of my partner's, and she loved her chicken sandwich. And the fried calamari was some of the best I have had outside Italy

At least 25 years, if memory serves. I've been in the hood over 30 years. It is consistently good, but there has been a lot of changes in the kitchen. I still mourn the loss of the eggplant Napoleon....
